Joseph Gilene Named President of St. Joseph Hospital

KentuckyOne Health in Louisville, Ky., has named Joseph Gilene president of St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky., effective Oct. 28, according to a Lexington Header-Leader report.

Previously, Mr. Gilene was regional vice president for Quorum Health Resources, a hospital management organization based in Brentwood, Tenn. He will take over for John Smithhisler, who currently serves as president of the hospital as well as market leader for KentuckyOne in Lexington. Mr. Gilene will report to Mr. Smithhisler, according to the report.
