José Sánchez. President and CEO of Norwegian American Hospital (Chicago). Mr. Sanchez has been president and CEO of Norwegian American since 2013. He rose through the ranks of New York City-based City Health and Hospitals Corp., eventually serving as senior vice president and CEO of Generations+/Northern Manhattan Health Network before taking on his current role, where he is responsible for the 200-bed acute care hospital embedded in Chicago’s Humboldt Park community. Mr. Sanchez sits on the Illinois State Health Improvement Plan Implementation Coordination Council, the Budgeting for Results Commission and the Illinois Department of Public Health Perinatal Advisory Committee.
