Johnson Memorial Health appoints Dr. David Dunkle CEO

Franklin, Ind.-based Johnson Memorial Health has selected David Dunkle, MD, to serve as president and CEO.

Dr. Dunkle has served as interim CEO of the organization since February and played a key role in the development of Johnson Memorial Health’s new emergency department and outpatient services building, which is expected to be complete by early 2020.

Dr. Dunkle, a practicing family physician, also has served as vice president of medical affairs at Johnson Memorial Health.

Dr. Dunkle plans to continue to see patients as he takes on CEO responsibilities, but he will scale back his hours in the family medicine practice.
