Lauren Neuman, MD, has been named the medical director of Overland Park, Kan.-based Johnson County Rehabilitation Hospital, according to a July 5 press release.
In the new 40-bed hospital set to open this month, Dr. Neuman will lead medical staff and hospital teams to provide care for patients suffering with the consequences of serious illness and injury.
"I look forward to returning home to the Kansas City area to work in our brand new hospital with an exceptional team to deliver high quality rehab services to patients," she said in the release.
