Johns Hopkins Medicine's VP for corporate security to retire: 3 points

Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine's Vice President for Corporate Security Keith Hill is retiring in January.

Here are three points:

1. Mr. Hill, the organization's first VP for corporate security, assumed the role in 2013.

2. During his tenure, he played a key role in establishing the institutions' first K-9 unit and in developing the LiveSafe app enabling students, faculty and staff to quickly request assistance or report a concern.

3. He has more than 25 years of experience with the United States Secret Service.
