Johns Hopkins Medicine’s VP for corporate security to retire: 3 points

Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Vice President for Corporate Security Keith Hill is retiring in January.

1. Mr. Hill, the organization’s first VP for corporate security, assumed the role in 2013.

2. During his tenure, he played a key role in establishing the institutions’ first K-9 unit and in developing the LiveSafe app enabling students, faculty and staff to quickly request assistance or report a concern.

3. He has more than 25 years of experience with the United States Secret Service.
