Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine has appointed Sarah Johnson Conway, MD, as senior vice president for the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians and Physician Group Practice.
In this role, Dr. Conway will oversee the strategic direction of JHM’s employed and affiliated physicians. She will have direct oversight of all physician entities within the Johns Hopkins Health System, including Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians and Johns Hopkins Clinical alliance.
Dr. Conway has served in the role on an interim basis since November 2023, according to a May 19 news release. In her permanent role, she will work closely with Rick Redett, MD, physician-in-chief at JMH and Kevin Sowers, MSN, RN, executive vice president of JHM and president of the health system, according to a May 19 news release.
Dr. Conway has been a hospitalist at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore since completing her residency in 2016. She helped launch the system’s clinically integrated network, where she serves as chief medical officer, and has led multiple practice integrations supporting regional growth into Northern Virginia.
Johns Hopkins Medicine is the parent organization that integrates the Johns Hopkins Health System with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
