Dr. Miller will replace Ronald R. Peterson, who has served as president for 19 years.
Over the years, Dr. Miller has held a variety of positions, including assistant dean for student affairs for the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, according to The Hub. In 2004, she earned her MBA from the Johns Hopkins University School of Professional Studies in Business and Education. Most recently, she was senior vice president for medical affairs for the Johns Hopkins Health System and vice president of medical affairs for the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
The leadership change is effective July 1.
