John Yeary steps into Freestone Medical Center CEO role permanently: 5 notes

Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Consulting and the Fairfield (Texas) Hospital District appointed John Yeary permanent CEO of Freestone Medical Center in Fairfield, effective Aug. 1.

1. Mr. Yeary has served as interim CEO of the 37-bed hospital since March.

2. He has served on the administrative staff of numerous organizations, including Hendrick Health System in Abilene, Texas, and Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La.

3. He has also served as CEO/owner of Regional Health Services, a durable medical equipment company.

4. Mr. Yeary is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

5. He holds a master of science degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University in San Antonio.
