John Popovich, MD. President and CEO of Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit). As president and CEO of Henry Ford Hospital, Dr. Popovich oversees all clinical and financial operations for the 805-bed hospital. He first joined the system in 1980 as a senior staff member and moved on to hold positions such as the division head of pulmonary and critical care medicine, chair of the department of internal medicine and senior vice president for clinical affairs. Dr. Popovich is the past chair of the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation and a professor at Wayne State University’s School of Medicine.
