John Ludwig to serve as HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital new CEO: 3 notes

Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System named John A. Ludwig president and CEO of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, Ill.

Here are three notes:

1. Mr. Ludwig most recently served as COO of Bridgton (Maine) and Rumford (Maine) hospitals, both 25-bed critical access hospitals.

2. Prior to that role, he was the chief nursing officer at Bridgton Hospital.

3. He will begin his new role as CEO of HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Sept. 19.
