John Kueven is WellStar Paulding Hospital’s new president: 4 points

Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System tapped John Kueven, RN, to serve as senior vice president and president of WellStar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, Ga., effective March 5, according to a Marietta Daily Journal report.

1. Currently, Mr. Kueven is COO at Memorial Herman Katy (Texas) Hospital.

2. He has previously worked in leadership positions at Boston Children’s Hospital and North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.

3. He holds master’s degrees in business and health administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

4. He is the permanent successor to Mark Haney, who was promoted to senior vice president of real estate, facilities and development services at WellStar Health System.
