Joe Hodges Named SSM Health Care of Oklahoma President

SSM Health Care has announced it named Joe Hodges system vice president and regional president for SSM Health Care of Oklahoma, effective Feb. 13.

He has served as interim president since September 2011 and now permanently replaces Chris Howards, who was promoted to president and CEO of SSM Health Care-St. Louis.

Mr. Hodges joined SSM Health’s St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City as a part-time employee in the hospital’s business office in 1992 and rose to become hospital president in 2005. He served in that role until being named interim regional president/system vice president.
