Jefferson Hospital in Georgia names Wendy Frost Martin CEO

Jefferson Hospital in Louisville, Ga., has selected Wendy Frost Martin to serve as CEO, effective Sept. 9, according to The Augusta Chronicle.

Ms. Martin most recently was CFO at Shands Starke (Fla.) Regional Medical Center. She also served as interim CEO of the facility. Previously, she was the controller at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

She holds an MBA with a focus on hospital administration from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.

Ms. Martin succeeds Lou Semrad, who left to pursue new opportunities.
