Jefferson Health System names Dr. Anne Boland Docimo CMO

Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health System has announced the appointment of Anne Boland Docimo, MD, MBA, as CMO.

In her role as CMO, Dr. Docimo will work with Jefferson leadership to develop a fully integrated, patient-centric faculty practice plan with an emphasis on expanding and growing relationships with employed and independent physicians.

“I am very excited that Dr. Docimo has joined Jefferson,” said David P. McQuaid, MBA, the executive vice president for clinical affairs for Jefferson Health System and president and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. “Her experience as the CMO for a health plan and senior medical director for a health system will be critical as we move forward under the One Jefferson model, particularly in the ever-changing landscape of healthcare.”

Dr. Docimo previously served as CMO for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Health Plan and as senior medical director for the hospital division of UPMC. Prior to her role at UPMC, Dr. Docimo was the director of urgent care and community medicine at Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore.
