2. He has worked at Vidant Health for 15 years, assuming his current role in 2011.
3. He holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
4. Mr. Briley is succeeding Roger Robertson, who is retiring in June.
5. Sue Taylor, vice president of patient care services at Vidant Duplin, will assume the president role on an interim basis.
6. As president of Vidant Community Hospitals, Mr. Briley will oversee seven community hospitals throughout eastern North Carolina.
