Mr. Lureman was selected for the role after a nationwide search and top recommendation from the CEO search committee, a panel of physicians, community representatives, front-line workers and a subset of the hospital’s board of trustees, according to a Broadlawns Medical Center May 21 news release.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Lureman served as vice president of operations at UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, where he led 1,300 medical professionals and more than 200 advanced practice providers and physicians, according to the release.
