Iowa hospital taps chief medical officer

Fairfield, Iowa-based Jefferson County Health Center named Brian Marovets, MD, chief medical officer.

Dr. Marovets joined the system in 2022 as a physician and will continue his clinical practice in addition to his executive responsibilities, according to an Aug. 21 system news release.

As chief medical officer, he will oversee 28 employed and contracted providers and guide the care delivery approach.
