Iowa hospital taps CEO

Manning (Iowa) Regional Healthcare Center has named Shannon Black its next CEO, effective Feb. 19.

Ms. Black has two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, according to a recent news release from the hospital. Most recently, she served Des Moines-based UnityPoint Health as a clinic administrator in both Waukee and Jefferson, Iowa. 

Manning Regional Healthcare Center is an affiliate of Des Moines-based MercyOne, which was acquired in September 2022 by Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health.
