Iowa hospital names new CIO

Fairfield, Iowa-based Jefferson County Health Center has named Tim Belec as its new CIO, Southeast Iowa Union reported Aug. 20.

In this role, Mr. Belec will oversee design, implementation, support and maintenance of Jefferson’s network, information systems and EHR system.

He will report directly to Bryan Hunger, CEO of Jefferson County Health Center. 

Prior to this, Mr. Belec was CIO of Owensboro (Ky.) Health.
