Cincinnati-based Mercy Health named Toni Green-Cheatwood, DO, chief clinical officer of its Toledo market.
Dr. Green-Cheatwood started her career as a breast surgeon and has spent 13 years in healthcare leadership positions, according to a July 21 system news release. Most recently, she served as chief medical officer at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colo., with regionwide responsibilities as associate chief medical officer for Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. Both hospitals are part of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health.
She takes over the chief clinical role from James Tita, DO, who retired on April 1.
