Interim CEO, CFO exit Wyoming hospital

Memorial Hospital of Carbon County in Rawlins, Wyo., recently announced the departures of two top executives.

Effective June 12, Rex Walk, interim CEO, and Margaret Fontana, CFO, are no longer with the organization, according to a hospital news release. 

Gerald Parton, an experienced leader from Fairhope, Ala., was selected as the new interim CEO, according to the release. Meanwhile, MHCC is making arrangements for the placement of a CFO.  

The release said the changes are “to secure the entity’s future.”

“We ask the community to join us in support of these changes and our continued efforts to address the constantly changing landscape of healthcare,” the release said.

Mr. Walk served as the interim CEO of MHCC since May 2023, and Ms. Fontana had been in her role since March.
