Falls Church, Va.-based Inova Health System tapped Susan Carroll to serve as regional executive officer overseeing Alexandria, Va.-based Inova Mount Vernon Hospital and Inova Alexandria Hospital.
Here are five notes:
1. Most recently, Ms. Carroll served as CEO of Inova Alexandria Hospital and senior vice president at Inova Health System.
2. Prior to that, she was vice president of Inova Cancer Institute and Inova Translational Medicine Institute, both based in Falls Church.
3. CEOs at both Inova Mount Vernon and Inova Alexandria will assist Ms. Carroll in her duties.
4. Don Brideau, MD, is the new interim CEO at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital.
5. The health system is in the midst of the process to identify the new CEO of Inova Alexandria Hospital.
