Indiana University Health Names Herbert Buchanan President of Methodist, University Hospitals

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health announced the appointment of Herbert C. Buchanan, Jr., as president of both IU Health Methodist Hospital and IU Health University Hospital, in Indianapolis, effective July 7.

Mr. Buchanan most recently served as CEO of Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He has also previously served as COO of University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
