Good Samaritan in Vincennes, Ind., has appointed Wendy Hernandez as chief administrative officer.
Ms. Hernandez assumed the role as part of a leadership transition ahead of Adam Thacker moving into the president and CEO position in January, according to a Nov. 19 hospital news release. She brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience to the post.
She most recently served as system vice president at Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health, overseeing enterprise operations for information systems applications. Prior to that, she led regional teams across pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, infection prevention and other clinical support areas.
Good Samaritan includes a 158-bed hospital and clinics.
