Indiana-based St. Vincent appoints 2 regional executives

Indianapolis-based St. Vincent, part of St. Louis-based Ascension, named Gwynn Perlich, BSN, MSN, permanent COO of its southwest region and Craig Polkow vice president of finance for the south region, according to an Inside Indiana Business report.

Ms. Perlich became interim COO of St. Vincent’s southwest region in February 2017. Her previous roles include serving as vice president of clinical and non-clinical services and chief nursing officer at St. Vincent Indianapolis and vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at St. Vincent Carmel (Ind.). In addition to her nursing degrees, Ms. Perlich holds an MBA from Anderson (Ind.) University.

Mr. Polkow comes to St. Vincent from DeKalb Health in Auburn, Ind., where he was CEO. He previously served as executive vice president and CFO at Nashville, Tenn.-based Saint Thomas Health, also a part of Ascension. He earned his MBA at Indiana University South Bend.
