Illinois system names director of accountable care services

Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System appointed Lauren Respress, BSN, RN, as system director of accountable care services.

Ms. Respress had served in the role on an interim basis since August. In her permanent position, she will lead population health, value-based care and accountable care initiatives in partnership with physician leadership, according to a Dec. 9 news release.

She joined the system in 2021 and brings more than a decade of nursing experience, along with leadership roles in ambulatory and surgical settings focused on care coordination and quality improvement.

HSHS operates 13 hospitals and a network of clinics and community health sites across Illinois and Wisconsin.
