Brian Canfield has stepped down as CEO of Quincy, Ill.-based Blessing Health System.
Mr. Canfield joined the system in 2021 and became CEO in 2023, according to an April 16 news release.
Tim Tranor, DNP, RN, BSN, who serves as chief nursing officer, was appointed COO and interim CEO. Dr. Tranor has held his current role since December 2015 and brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience, the release said.
Blessing Health System operates two hospitals, two physician groups and a college of nursing and health sciences, according to its website.
