McLeansboro, Ill.-based Hamilton Memorial Hospital has named Joshua Tharp, BSN, RN, chief nursing officer and chief clinical officer, according to a June 8 WRUL report.
Mr. Tharp brings more than a decade of healthcare leadership experience to the role. He most recently served as director of inpatient rehabilitation for the SSM Rehabilitation Network in Mt. Vernon, Ill., where he led nursing and therapy services.
His previous leadership roles include positions at Herrin, Ill.-based SIH Herrin Hospital; St. Louis-based SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital; and St. Joseph, Mo.-based Heartland Regional Medical Center.
As CNO and CCO, Mr. Tharp will oversee nursing and clinical operations, with responsibilities including quality outcomes, patient safety, recruitment and service line growth.
