Illinois hospital names CEO

Joe Ottolino has been appointed CEO of Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Ill., the hospital wrote in a May 29 LinkedIn post.

Mr. Ottolino has served as an executive at Cedar Health since December 2020, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prior to that, he was CEO of West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill., from 2016 to 2021, and vice president of ancillary services at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Ill., from 2007 to 2014.

Gateway Regional Medical Center is a 343-bed facility with inpatient, outpatient, emergency and behavioral health services.
