Rachael Prather, BSN, RN, was appointed CEO of Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Ill.
Ms. Prather brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role, according to a May 6 hospital news release.
Most recently, she served as COO of Ferrell, where she was credited with overseeing the implementation of specialty service lines and key accreditations.
She also played a key role in the hospital’s EMR transition to Epic and its designation as an Illinois Department of Public Health stroke-ready facility, according to the release.
Ferrell is a 25-bed critical access hospital.
