Mr. Steadham has been vice president of operations at Murray (Ky.) Calloway County Hospital for the past four years.
While at Murray Calloway, Mr. Steadham helped the hospital receive the 2009 Thomson Reuters 100 Top Hospitals Performance Improvement Leaders award and the 2010 Health Grades Patient Safety Excellence Award.
Mr. Steadham succeeds former president and CEO Bill Bruce, who resigned in Nov. 2009. Morris Hospital CFO Thomas Meyer will continue as acting CEO until Mr. Steadham assumes his role in September.
