Idaho hospital CEO to step down

Jordan Herget, CEO of Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, will step down from his role Sept. 6 to assume a new position elsewhere.

The hospital’s COO, Nate Carter, will serve as interim CEO, according to a statement shared with Becker’s on Aug. 9.

Mr. Herget became CEO in 2020, prior to which he was senior vice president and area manager for Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente.

Highlights from his tenure at Portneuf Health include expanding capacity and services and improving patient safety, according to the statement.
