IASIS now has 11 board members. Mr. Geiser has been a senior adviser with TPG Capital since 2006. TPG, a private equity firm, is the largest stockholder in IASIS.
Mr. Geiser also serves on the board for Deerfield, Ill.-based Surgical Care Affiliates, a company that operates ambulatory surgery centers and surgical hospitals and is also partially owned by TPG.
