Hutchinson (Minn.) Health tapped James Lyons to serve as president, effective April 12.

Four things to know:

1. Mr. Lyons most recently served as chief of clinic operations at Hutchinson Health.

2. He joined the organization in 1996.

3. A past board member for the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement, he is currently a member of its audit and finance committee.

4. Mr. Lyons succeeds Steve Mulder, MD, who is retiring.
