Huron Medical Center names new CFO

Bad Axe, Mich.-based Huron Medical Center has appointed Bill Castle as CFO and senior vice president of finance, according to the Huron Daily Tribune.

Mr. Castle has been with Huron Medical Center since 2005 and has advanced through the ranks, moving from senior accountant to controller. He left the medical center in 2011 to pursue a master’s degree in business administration from University Center, Mich.-based Saginaw Valley State University.

“I am very pleased to welcome Bill back to Huron Medical Center as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer,” said Huron Medical Center CEO Jeffery Longbrake. “Bill’s years of experience and extensive knowledge of hospital financial management is a tremendous asset to HMC as it positions itself for continued success in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.”
