Rachel Kraynak was appointed system director of operational advancement for Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System.
Ms. Kraynak most recently served as associate administrator, a role she held since July 2024. She joined HSHS in 2023 as an administrative fellow.
In her new role, Ms. Kraynak will lead the volunteer services team, oversee the telehealth program and provide strategic and operational support to executive leadership on systemwide initiatives, according to a May 27 news release shared with Becker’s.
HSHS is a 13-hospital system with operations in Illinois and Wisconsin.
