Holy Cross Hospital CEO Patrick Taylor to depart next month

Patrick A. Taylor, MD, president and CEO of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Holy Cross Hospital, announced his plans to resign, effective Oct. 30.

Dr. Taylor has served as the hospital’s leader since 2010. Prior to that, he served in various leadership roles at the hospital, including CMO and COO. He joined Holy Cross Hospital in 1988 as an emergency medicine physician.

During his tenure as CEO, the hospital developed an affiliation with Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and established a neuroscience institute and women’s center. It also became an academic teaching medical center in affiliation with the University of Miami.
