HMA Promotes Melody Trimble to President of Southern, Western Group

Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates has promoted Melody Trimble to president of its Southern and Western Group, which includes 26 hospitals in seven states.

Ms. Trimble is currently the vice president and market CEO of HMA’s Fort Smith, Ark.-based Sparks Healthcare System and CEO of Summit Medical Center in Van Buren, Ark. She will begin her new position on Jan. 1, 2013.

Ms. Trimble is replacing Joe Pinon, who recently announced he will retire at the end of this year.
