Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates has announced the retirement of CEO Gary Newsome, effective July 31.
Mr. Newsome has retired to serve as president of a mission in Uruguay with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The board of directors has initiated a search for Mr. Newsome’s replacement.
