Hillsboro Community Hospital CEO to retire: 3 takeaways

Hillsboro (Kan.) Community Hospital CEO Marion Regier is retiring, according to a Peabody Gazette-Bulletin report.

Here are three takeaways:

1. Ms. Regier plans to step down by the end of November to "spend more time with family and grandchildren."

2. Ms. Regier became CEO of the critical access hospital six years ago. She has worked at the hospital for 25 years.

3. Michael Christensen will take over as interim CEO. He is president of Empower HMS, the company that operates Hillsboro Community Hospital.
