Hill Physicians Medical Group CEO to retire

San Ramon, Calif.-based Hill Physicians Medical Group CEO Darryl Cardoza will retire at the end of March, according to a report in the Sacramento Business Journal.

David Joyner, COO of Hill Physicians, will succeed Mr. Cardoza. Mr. Joyner will also become CEO of PriMed Management Consulting Services, the management services organization for Hill.

Mr. Cardoza and Steve McDermott founded PriMed in 1982. Mr. Cardoza served as COO for PriMed for 31 years and succeeded Mr. McDermott as president and CEO in April 2012.
