Hiawatha Community Hospital appoints interim CEO: 4 notes

Hiawatha (Kan.) Community Hospital named John Broberg interim CEO, according to a Hiawatha World report.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Broberg founded Broberg Consulting Group in 2016, offering executive coaching and interim CEO services.

2. He has previously served as interim CEO at Hiawatha Community Hospital from October 2016 to July 2017.

3. Prior to starting Broberg Consulting Group, he was CEO of Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, Kan.

4. The hospital will not comment on the employment status of Jeff Shelton, who has served as CEO for the past 18 months. The hospital’s human resources director told Hiawatha World that “it was the hospital’s policy not to comment on personnel matters.”
