HHC Metropolitan Hospital Center selects CMO

John T. Pellicone, MD, has been appointed CMO of HHC Metropolitan Hospital Center, part of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corp.

Dr. Pellicone most recently served as CMO of Helen Hayes Hospital and Nyack Hospital, which are part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System.

He is pulmonologist who maintained a private pulmonary practice until his appointment at HHC Metropolitan.

Dr. Pellicone said he is excited to join the team at HHC Metropolitan. “As a community hospital serving a diverse population of patients, HHC Metropolitan focuses on providing access to healthcare that is patient-centered and individualized, and culturally sensitive to ensure the best possible care and experience for our patients.”
