Detroit-based Henry Ford Health has named Shannon Ducat vice president of revenue cycle – patient access, according to a Nov. 2 post on her LinkedIn page.
Ms. Ducat joins Henry Ford Health after more than 23 years at Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica, including five years as associate vice president of patient access.
“I began my career as a registrar at Toledo (Pediatrics), not knowing that first role would ignite a lifelong passion for patient access and the patient experience,” she said in the post. “Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to work with amazing colleagues and mentors who have shaped, challenged, and supported me — giving me opportunities to grow, lead and learn more than I could have imagined. I will always be grateful for the friendships, experiences and memories made over the past two decades.”
