Hennepin Healthcare System Names Dr. Jon Pryor CEO

Hennepin Healthcare System, the public subsidiary corporation of Hennepin County that operates Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, has named Jon Pryor, MD, MBA, as its CEO.

Dr. Pryor is the CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin Medical College Physicians, a clinical practice group whose members are the medical staff for Froedtert Health System in Milwaukee.

Dr. Pryor graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine in Minneapolis and earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill.

According to a Star Tribune report, Dr. Pryor will take over at HCMC on April 1.
