Here are five things to know:
1. Mr. Holland most recently served as CEO of Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center.
2. He has prior experience serving as administrator and COO for River Region Health System in Vicksburg, Miss., and CEO of San Angelo (Texas) Community Medical Center.
3. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and in 2017, he received the American Hospital Association’s Grassroots Champion Award.
4. Mr. Holland holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from San Antonio-based Trinity University.
5. He succeeds Tim Lancaster, who is retiring in December.
