Health First appoints Bill Calhoun president of community hospitals

Rockledge, Fla.-based Health First has appointed Bill Calhoun, MBA, as president of community hospitals. He will oversee the operations and development of Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, Palm Bay (Fla.) Hospital and Viera (Fla.) Hospital.

Most recently, Mr. Calhoun served as regional vice president at Oshkosh, Wis.-based Affinity Health System, where he was responsible for three hospitals and more than 270 providers. He also served as senior vice president and COO of The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle, Maine.
