HCA Virginia hospital names CEO

Nathan Vooys is the new CEO of Reston (Va.) Hospital Center, a 243-bed facility that is part of HCA Virginia Health System.

Mr. Vooys will take up his position with the hospital March 4. He has led StoneSprings Hospital Center in Dulles, Va., for the last three years as CEO. He has been with HCA for more than a decade. 

Reston Hospital has been operating under the interim CEO leadership of Whitney Fenyak, who also serves as COO. The hospital also sought a CFO this past summer; John Porada currently holds the position. 

HCA Virginia Health System operates 14 hospitals and is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
