HCA Virginia hospital CEO heads to Tennessee

TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., has named Lauren Dudley as its new CEO.

Ms. Dudley brings more than 16 years of healthcare leadership experience across HCA Healthcare hospitals, including trauma centers, community hospitals and tertiary-care facilities, according to a Dec. 16 hospital news release.

She most recently served as CEO of LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, Va., where she led the opening of a freestanding ER, expanded surgical capacity and oversaw initiatives to improve colleague engagement. Her previous roles included COO at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce and vice president of operations at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Va.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. It is a level 1 trauma center with 353 beds.
