HCA North Texas taps Jamie Youssef for system chief executive position: 3 things to know

HCA North Texas, the 15-hospital Irving-based branch of HCA, has named Jamie Youssef chief development and strategy officer, according to D Magazine.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Youssef.

1. Mr. Youssef will begin his job July 20.

2. In his role, Mr. Youssef will be charged with physician partnerships, service line development, regional outreach and locating ways to improve healthcare delivery throughout cities where Nashville-based HCA has a presence, according to Erol Akdamar, CEO of HCA North Texas.

3. Mr. Youssef was formally the senior vice president and chief development and operations officer at Medical City Dallas, part of HCA North Texas.
